Michael

One of the principal archangels in all three Abrahamic faiths. Michael is depicted as a warrior angel and protector.

In Judaism

Michael appears in Daniel as “one of the chief princes” who protects Israel. In Jewish tradition, he is Israel’s guardian angel and an advocate for the Jewish people before God.

In Christianity

Michael is venerated as an archangel who leads heaven’s armies against Satan. In Revelation, he defeats the dragon (Satan) in heavenly warfare. He is a patron of soldiers and is invoked for protection against evil.

In Islam

Mikail is one of the four archangels, responsible for providing nourishment and sustenance to bodies and souls. He controls nature and provisions by God’s command.
