The Egyptian New Kingdom (1550-1070 BCE) represents the height of Egyptian power and influence. This era saw the construction of the Valley of the Kings and the reigns of famous pharaohs including Hatshepsut, Thutmose III, Akhenaten, and Ramesses II.
