Early Christian leader and teacher, husband of Priscilla. Jewish tentmaker from Pontus who had been expelled from Rome. Worked alongside Paul in Corinth and Ephesus. With Priscilla, he instructed Apollos more fully in the faith. Paul called them his “fellow workers” and praised their courage. A church met in their home. Model of lay ministry and partnership in the gospel.
