Esther

Jewish orphan who became queen of Persia. When Haman plotted to exterminate the Jews, she risked her life to approach the king uninvited and exposed the plot. Her courage saved her people. The festival of Purim celebrates this deliverance. Her book uniquely never mentions God’s name but shows His providence.
