Job

A righteous man whose faithfulness was tested through extreme suffering—loss of children, wealth, and health. Despite his anguish and questions, he maintained his integrity before God. His story, told in the biblical book bearing his name and mentioned in the Quran, explores the mystery of innocent suffering. In Islam, he is considered one of the 25 named prophets, a model of patience (sabr) in adversity.
