Nebuchadnezzar II

King of Babylon who conquered Judah and destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple in 586 BCE. Took Daniel and other Jews into exile. Built the Hanging Gardens. In Daniel, he had dreams interpreted and later was driven mad for seven years until he acknowledged God’s sovereignty.
