Nicodemus

Pharisee and member of the Sanhedrin who came to Jesus by night to learn from him. Jesus told him “you must be born again.” Defended Jesus before the Sanhedrin, asking “Does our law judge a man without first giving him a hearing?” Brought myrrh and aloes to anoint Jesus’ body for burial, working with Joseph of Arimathea. A secret disciple who became bold.
