Shadrach

One of Daniel’s three companions taken to Babylon. Refused to worship Nebuchadnezzar’s golden image and was thrown into a fiery furnace. A fourth figure “like a son of the gods” appeared with them, and they emerged unharmed. Symbol of faithfulness under persecution.
