Apostle who doubted Jesus’ resurrection until he could touch the wounds, then declared “My Lord and my God!” This confession is among the New Testament’s clearest statements of Jesus’ divinity. Tradition says he evangelized India, where the Mar Thoma Christians trace their origin to him.
