Uthman

Third caliph and early convert, known for his wealth, generosity, and modesty. Married two of Muhammad’s daughters (successively, hence his title). Standardized the text of the Quran. His later reign faced increasing criticism, culminating in rebels besieging his home and killing him while he read the Quran.
