Zerubbabel

Grandson of King Jehoiachin, led the first wave of exiles back to Judah. Governor who oversaw the rebuilding of the Second Temple (completed 516 BCE). Encouraged by prophets Haggai and Zechariah. Though of David’s line, he never became king.
