From Curse to Blessing
Jacob condemns the violence of Simeon and Levi at Shechem. The prophecy of scattering was fulfilled: Simeon was absorbed into Judah, while Levi received no territorial inheritance—yet this “scattering” became Levi’s priestly calling to serve among all the tribes.
