Saul’s reign; rise of David

Saul disobeys God repeatedly. Samuel anoints David secretly. David kills Goliath with sling. Serves in court, befriends Jonathan, marries Michal. Saul grows jealous, tries to kill David. David flees, spares Saul twice. Saul and Jonathan die at Mount Gilboa.
