Bathsheba

Wife of Uriah the Hittite, with whom David committed adultery. David had Uriah killed to cover up her pregnancy. Their first child died; their second was Solomon. Later advocated for Solomon’s succession. Named in Matthew’s genealogy of Jesus (as “Uriah’s wife”).
