Enosh

Grandson of Adam through Seth, during whose time formal worship began—“people began to call on the name of the LORD” (Genesis 4:26). His name means “mortal” or “frail,” reflecting humanity’s growing awareness of mortality after the Fall. Born when Seth was 105 years old, Enosh fathered Kenan at age 90 and lived 905 years.
