Cousin of Muhammad, daughter of Abu Talib and sister of Ali. Witnessed the Night Journey and Ascension (Isra and Mi’raj) when Muhammad visited her home before his miraculous journey. She became Muslim and protected Muslim converts in her home during the Conquest of Mecca. Her testimony about the Night Journey is recorded in hadith collections.
