Brother of Moses and first High Priest of Israel. Served as Moses’ spokesman before Pharaoh. Made the golden calf during Moses’ absence on Sinai—a significant failure. Nevertheless, became the ancestor of all legitimate priests (Kohanim). Considered a prophet in Islam.
