Miriam

Sister of Moses and Aaron, called a prophetess. Watched over baby Moses in the Nile and arranged for their mother to nurse him. Led the women in celebration after crossing the Red Sea. Later struck with leprosy for challenging Moses’ authority but was healed after seven days.
