Abraham

Father of the Abrahamic faiths. Called by God to leave Mesopotamia for Canaan, receiving promises of land, countless descendants, and blessing to all nations. His faith was tested supremely in the near-sacrifice of Isaac. Considered the first patriarch in Judaism, the father of faith in Christianity, and a major prophet and builder of the Kaaba in Islam.
