Milcah

Daughter of Haran and wife of her uncle Nahor, Abraham’s brother. Through this marriage within Terah’s family, Milcah became grandmother of Rebekah and Laban through her son Bethuel. Her granddaughter Rebekah would marry Isaac, ensuring the line of promise continued through relatives rather than Canaanites. The “city of Nahor” where Abraham’s servant found Rebekah (Genesis 24:10) refers to her husband’s settlement in Mesopotamia.
